Dartfish at 2008 AFL National Coaching Conference

Dartfish was proud to be involved with the 2008 AFL National Coaching Conference and would like to thank Anton Grbac and Lawrie Woodman for a very informative and practical learning environment that we enjoyed along with the attendees.

Organised by the AFL Development department, the conference provides an opportunity for Australian Football coaches - particularly senior and junior club coaches to gain first-hand access to the most up-to-date coaching methods and practices.

Dartfish’s Glen Murdoch presented an in depth tutorial on game analysis using Dartfish Connect Plus and Team Pro software to a large group of coaches. The session was practically orientated and attendees were able to first-hand experience tagging a match with assistance from Dartfish staff.

Dartfish also attended the first Kicking Course conducted by the AFL for West Australian and Queensland high-performance coaches a day prior to the conference starting.

This day was started with keynote talks from respected coaches in kicking and introductions to Dartfish. All attendees had Dartfish Connect software loaded on their machines and learned how to obtain video (via a live feedback seminar), import it into Dartfish and examine the video in closer detail (frame by frame and comparisons).

We look forward to working with many of the clubs in attendance.
